WHEAT KINGS ADD TO BUSINESS OPERATIONS

The Brandon Wheat Kings have filled a key role in their front office with the hiring of Mike Filipchuk as the Director of Sponsorship.

Born and raised in Brandon, Filipchuk brings over 17 years of sales experience across multiple industries.  He most recently served as an Agriculture Sales Consultant with Rocky Mountain Equipment.

“I’m really eager to get started and introduce myself to the Wheat Kings sponsors and the Brandon business community,” said Filipchuk. “I’ve been a lifelong Wheat King fan and I can’t wait to combine my two passions of Hockey and sales together in this role.”

Mike has also volunteered his time as a coach at multiple levels throughout Hockey Brandon over the years. During the last three Hockey seasons, he has been the Head Coach of the U17 AAA Wheat Kings.
