Brandon, MB. — Whether it’s at work, the rink or volunteering at a local charity, Atom-Jet Group and its employees share in the belief of team and community involvement.
It is because of this shared belief that Atom-Jet Group has announced plans to team up with the Western Hockey League’s Brandon Wheat Kings to celebrate and raise awareness for the countless members of the community that help to make western Manitoba a great place to live.
During each home game this season, Atom Jet Group will be recognizing a deserving military, Fire, EMS, RCMP or Brandon Police Service family.
In addition to receiving tickets to a WHL game, the family will be recognized during the game as the “Atom-Jet Community Hero” of the game.
“Atom-Jet Group is excited to support this initiative in cooperation with the Wheat Kings,” says Terry Dorratt, Vice President of Sales and Mfg. Operations. “We are honoured to be able to recognize these deserving Community Heroes.”
In order to nominate a western Manitoba Community Hero, fans and families are encouraged to visit the Atom Jet Community Heroes page on the hockey club’s official website, which can be found at www.wheatkings.com.

The first recipient of the 2018-19 season will be awarded tickets to the Wheat Kings 2018 Home Opener scheduled for Friday, September 21st against the visiting Moose Jaw Warriors at Westoba Place.
Tickets to that game are on sale now at the Keystone Centre box office, by calling (204) 726-3555 or online at keystonecentre.com
