WHEAT KINGS HOSTING ANTHEM AUDITIONS

Brandon, MB. – Have you ever dreamed of performing the national anthem before a Western Hockey League game at Westman Communications Group Place?

If so, here’s your chance to get one step closer to realizing that dream.

The WHL’s Brandon Wheat Kings have announced plans to invite all singers and choirs to audition for the opportunity to perform “O Canada” at a regular season home game this season.

Open call auditions will be held between 4:30 – 5:30pm on Monday, September 18th at WCG Place.

Auditions are open to all individuals and choirs. Performers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian. Participants are encouraged to bring a performance resume if available and entries must perform the national anthem in its entirety to be considered.

All of Monday’s auditions will be held in front of the Wheat Kings’ home bench.

Participants should enter through the East Main Entrance, which is located next to the 50/50 Central office on the main concourse, where they will register.
