Brandon, MB. – With the 2017-18 Western Hockey League season well underway, the Brandon Wheat Kings have unveiled some exciting news for western Manitoba hockey fans.
The WHL club has introduced two mini packs as well as plans for a new promotion on Sunday’s this season. Brandon closes out a weekend series against the visiting Prince Albert Raiders.
Starting Thursday, October 12th, the Wheat Kings will be offering a seven and 4-game mini pack.
By purchasing a 7-game pack, fans will pay for five. If they choose the 4-game package, they will pay for three.

The Wheat Kings, who are coming off last night’s 5-2 win over the Edmonton Oil Kings, will host Prince Albert for back to back games this weekend.
Saturday night is presented by Super Thrifty Drugs while fans attending Sunday afternoon’s game are being encouraged to bring a non perishable food or cash donation, in support of Farm Credit Canada’s “Drive Away Hunger” campaign. As well, Heritage Co-op is presenting the first “Sunday Fun Day” of the 2017-18 season.
In addition to face painting, concourse games and a post-game public skate, children’s tickets will be on sale for just $5 (all taxes included). Any kids wishing to participate in the post game skate with Willie should report to the bottom of section #1 and #3 at the conclusion of the game with skates and a helmet. For very young children, we politely request that only one adult accompany the child as they go on the ice.
